I have visited Dubai a couple of times and everytime it presents new photo opportunities. This time I went to Riverland in Dubai Parks & Resorts.
Riverland is an interesting place. It connects all the themeparks of Dubai Parks & Resorts, and is kind of a themepark itself. There are restaurants and bars. The whole mood is that of an old European city. In the evening it is very nice to walk there and have a bite in one of the venues.
When I was taking photos there, I was stopped by a security official. Apparently it is not allowed to use a tripod and photograph the area. Weird, but true. Luckily I had already made some shots before I had to put away my gear.
