Meijendel Beach

1/800s | f/10 | ISO 800 | 55mm

Meijendel nature reserve is one of those places I keep coming back to. It is a remarkable combination of forests, dunes and beach to explore.

In the cold February month, Meijendel is less busy. I was there with my son (5) who followed me through the rough terrain without any complaints at all.

We arrived at the beach around sunset, so it was a perfect opportunity to take some photos there. On the beach we even discovered a quite rare find. Hundreds of starfishes were stranded on the beach. We had to be careful not to step on them.
