The Dobbe in Zoetermeer: reflections at sunset

While preparing for an InstaWalk in Zoetermeer, I visited the Dobbe near the market square and city hall. This familiar city-centre lake offered more photographic possibilities than I first expected.

Artworks in the water, a wooden bridge and the small park across the lake all provided possible foregrounds. At sunset, their reflections became the main attraction.

Construction work limited some views during this visit, but an interesting sky gave the evening its character. It was a useful reminder to revisit everyday places when the light changes.
