Tel Aviv and Jerusalem: coastal light and old city streets

A business trip to Israel gave me the opportunity to photograph two very different cities: Tel Aviv on the Mediterranean coast and Jerusalem, with its historic streets and religious landmarks.

In Tel Aviv, I reached the beach in time for a colourful sunset. The open coastline offered a change of pace from the streets and buildings of the city.

In Jerusalem, our walk took us from the Mount of Olives into the old city and along the Via Dolorosa. This small collection brings together the coastal evening light and the textures of Jerusalem’s streets.
