Sunset at the Noord-AA: reflections near Zoetermeer

I had visited the Noord-AA many times before taking a camera there. At sunset, the familiar lake near Zoetermeer revealed reflections I had previously walked past without noticing.

I tried several positions around the shore and included a fisherman in some of the compositions. The water carried the evening colour through each scene.

This was also my first experiment with a graduated filter to allow longer exposures. It introduced some vignetting, but that suited the photographs. The outing changed how I looked at a place I already knew well.
