Just a few blocks away from my house, the HSL high speed railway goes past Zoetermeer. The track is nothing special at first sight, but at some points when it crosses the water it becomes very interesting on a photo.

I imagine it must have been a weird sight when I was taking pictures of this boring concrete track. But after some retouching I am pleased with the results. In a city like Zoetermeer without an old city center, you have to get creative to find worthwhile photo locations.
