We made a trip to Iceland in the summer 2015, when it has eternal sun. Driving around the island, our primary mission was to photograph the beautiful landscape.

We saw some amazing scenery. The waterfalls are mindblowing.

What especially struck me is the emptyness of the land. In the winter it will get so cold and unhospitable that nobody wants to live here. In the summer it is still cold by European standards, but also very beautiful.

Looking back on this trip I certainly think that there are plenty of opportunities that I missed. Maybe I will go back, someday.
