On the way back from a short weekend in Eindhoven, we stopped at Oisterwijk to explore the forest there. Natuurmonumenten has created and preserved some wonderful areas there, with trees and small ponds that are popular fishing spots.

When we wandered through the marvelous forest, we spotted whole swarms of colorful dragonflies. I had to try to photograph some of them, which was not easy because they don’t pause for long. But I managed to spot a blue one and a red one resting on a leaf.
