Urbex in Zoetermeer

Doing some Urban Exploration (urbex) was on my bucket list for some time. So it was a golden opportunity when an office building just a block away from my house was being demolished.

When I was in Sardinia earlier this year, I found that the beautiful coastline was even more interesting because of the so called ‘Spanish Towers’. I photographed one of these towers in the south.

Zaanse Schans

The Zaanse Schans is one of Holland’s most popular tourist attractions. A village full of typically Dutch farms and windmills. We ventured there to shoot some classic Dutch landscape photos.

Eendrachtsmolen and Rottemeren Photos

The Rottemeren are just 15 minutes drive from my home. The area consists of a few lakes that are connected by the river Rotte. There is also a mill there, known as the “Eendrachtsmolen”.

The Noord-AA lake near my home town Zoetermeer (Sweet Lake City) is one of my favorite spots. A very simple composition, but combined with a long exposure effect I managed to achieve a soothing image.
